SchuF Fetterolf’s Range of Line Blinding Solutions

Armour Valve carries SchuF Fetterolf’s full range of line blinding solutions for critical safety applications in Canada. The Cam-Set®, Cam-Slide®, Cam-Goggle®, and Stacey™ do not require the use of a blind flange to blank off piping, thus eliminating the need to unbolt a flanged part of the pipe, insert a blank, and re-bolt. These solutions allow for one-person operation. In sizes above 10”, one-person operation of the Cam-Set and Stacey blinds is made possible by a counterweight that offsets the weight of the spectacle plate.

SchuF Fetterolf’s Cam Goggle® Solution

The SchuF Cam-Goggle® Line Blind is an innovative ‘Worker Safe’ blinding design that provides 100% absolute positive downstream shutoff.

Traditional blinding methods require a lot of time to open and close and multiple people or expensive equipment, like cranes, to change. The no-bolt design in the SchuF Cam-Goggle® Line Blind provides a fast and efficient shut-off process for a one-person operation, minimizing labour costs and downtime. This design also puts less stress on the pipe welds and equipment over time and increases the product lifespan, while improving ease of operation, reliability, and safety.

Somas Ball Segment Valve

The Somas ball segment valve provides high capacity and tight shut-off for steam, liquid, and mixed-phase applications. This valve features a one-piece ball segment and shaft design, for backlash-free operation and accurate control. The segment moves out of the flow path to minimize the risk of clogging and increase flow capacity. Somas ball segment valves are available in stainless steel body materials only and are customized using a variety of trim materials, operators, and instrumentation. HORA Steam Conditioning Valve

The HORA steam conditioning valve from HORA Regelarmenturen, performs both pressure-reducing and desuperheating functions. HORA steam conditioning valves offer multi-stage pressure control and high rangeability to handle a wide range of load conditions. The steam conditioning product portfolio includes several designs that are selected based on actual service conditions to ensure optimal performance.
