Our Commitments

We are committed to sustainable growth, to ensuring the highest levels of stakeholder satisfaction and product and service quality, and to maintaining a healthy, safe and balanced workplace

Our Purpose:

We exist to transform infrastructure for a healthy, thriving planet

Our purpose aligns to three global transformations: the energy transition, industrial decarbonization, and pivot to a circular economy. Armour Valve’s energy and industrial clients are central to these transformations and society increasingly expects them to operate in ways that respect people and the planet.

Armour Valve offers resilient infrastructure solutions that reduce waste and emissions while delivering the superior performance our customers need to provide affordable heat and electricity, clean water, and a range of essential goods that sustain our quality of life.

Explore Armour Valve’s purpose strategy, near-term goals, and performance as we work to transform infrastructure for a healthy thriving planet in our inaugural 2024 Social Purpose Report.

Sustainability at Armour Valve

Since 2023, Armour Valve has embarked on a transformative journey to embed our social purpose deeply into every facet of our operations. We’ve evolved our business model to measure performance more holistically through a quadruple bottom line approach. Our purpose performance is reported on in our inaugural 2024 Social Purpose Report. The three other dimensions of performance – people, planet, and profit – are outlined below and will be disclosed in a future report that integrates sustainability.

Planet: Waste no resources

We supply products and services that reduce waste and emissions and, as signatories to Canada’s Net-Zero Challenge, have committed to becoming a net-zero business by 2040. As an ISO 9001 registered company we are continuously improving and streamlining our processes to minimize resource use and optimize time and cost investment in order to better serve our customers.

People: Waste no potential

We are passionate about fostering an inclusive workplace that values diversity and celebrates the unique experiences and talents of each individual. We strive to provide a healthy, safe, and balanced workplace where each member of our team can thrive, build skills and expertise, and deliver their best performance.

Profit: Waste no opportunity

As signatories to the Family Business Sustainability Pledge, we have committed to building a sustainable future for our business across generations. Profits flow from our commitment to our purpose and sustainable growth, our relationships with stakeholders, and how we hold ourselves accountable to our purpose, people, planet and profit.

Marc Soucy, P.Eng

National Sales Manager

I am a mechanical engineer with 30 years of plant, sales and service experience. I have been on both sides of the desk and can relate with you when issues arise in the plant. You can trust that I won’t recommend a product unless I know that it will do the job for you.

Marc Soucy, P.Eng
